Renaissance Revival Vanity Mirror

1,250.00

A tilting vanity mirror, designed to rest atop a chest with drawers for rouge, lip stain and powder. The advantage of a chest-top vanity such as this, was that the entire piece could be drawn as close to the owner as necessary and the mirror tilted for nearsighted or aging eyes. Two small drawers flanking the beveled mirror were also used for holding jewelry. Created of walnut and fir and choice French walnut veneers. circa 1850, 2 ft. 8 in.Hx22 in.W x 8.25 in.D
